Purple Pride is Everywhere!!

We found a group of people (mostly Minnesota transplants) in Boston who love the Vikings just as much as we do. They all meet up at a bar/restaurant in Cambridge - The Tavern in the Square, Central Square. There are so many people that the bar is dedicating themselves as the Viking headquarters in Boston. We used to go to the Tavern in the Square in Salem for all the games last year, which was a lot of fun. This year, being surrounded by more purple and gold, is bound to be even more fun!

I went to the first outing on Thursday for the rematch of the NFC Championship game, Vikings vs. Saints. I met Mike and Julie there. Unfortunately, Adam had to miss out as he had class that night. Bummer! But it was a lot of fun. The only downside: parking is horrible! I am hoping it is better for Sunday games. But it is hard to beat a discounted Sunday brunch, free wings at half time, $11 pitchers, guaranteed Vikings audio (even when the Pats play!), and the Vikings banner. There were about 20-25 people who came to support the Vikings for the first game. Check it out!

Hopefully next week they can pull off a win! Skol Vikings!!
